After several consecutive evenings with mostly cloudy skies, the clouds parted this evening for a view of the planetary display in the west. The spacing between Jupiter and Venus continues to grow, with the pair about 16 degrees apart tonight. Venus is approaching the Pleaides. Best viewing of them with binoculars is during the next three evenings. Also notice Aldebaran and the Hyades, a more widely spaced star cluster. See our April update for more information.
