Venus and the moon were visible among the clouds in the western sky this evening at 8:45 p.m. in the Chicago area. Jupiter has set at this time, although two stars, Aldebaran and Elnath are visible.
This image was made at 8:45 p.m. CDT with a 30-second exposure.
Venus and the crescent moon made a nice pair! It was cloudy by me, too, but I did sneak out to get a glimpse of them. Great photograph.
