Venus and Jupiter (and Aldebaran and the Pleiades) This Morning, July 9, 2012

A clear morning in the Chicago area shows Morning Stars Venus and Jupiter at 4:05 a.m. CDT in this 20-second exposure. Venus is near Aldebaran, the brightest star in Taurus. The Pleiades star cluster shines above Jupiter.
