Morning Stars Venus and Jupiter, along with a waning crescent moon, sparkle among the bright stars in the eastern predawn skies this morning in this 30-second exposure image made at 4:40 a.m. CDT from the Chicago area.

Brilliant planet Venus is among the dim stars of Cancer approaching the mile post of the faint Beehive star cluster. It continues to rapidly move east among the stars. Tomorrow morning the moon is near Venus.

Bright planet Jupiter is near Aldebaran, the brightest star in Taurus.
