Venus shines brightly this evening, 9.8° to the upper right of Aldebaran, the brightest star in Taurus. The brilliant planet has been among the stars of this constellation throughout this month. Betelgeuse – the brightest star in Orion – is the left of Venus. Capella, in Auriga, is high above the sparkling planet.
