2020, April 27: The three bright outer planets – Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars shine from the southeastern sky this morning. The planets span 22.4°.

This morning, the three morning planets shine from the eastern sky. Bright Jupiter and dimmer Saturn are in the south-southeast. Mars is farther east in the southeastern sky. The three planets span 22.4° as Mars marches away from the two giant planets. The Jupiter – Saturn gap is 5.0° as Jupiter inches toward the Ringed Wonder. Mars is 17.4° from Saturn.
