Chart Caption - 2022, December 8: As night falls, Mars and the moon are in the east-northeast.

Author's Notes: The moon is east of Mars as mid-December approaches. "That bright star" in the southeastern sky after sundown is Jupiter. During the night Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars are strung across the sky. Mars is in the east-northeast, Jupiter in the south, and Saturn in the southwest.
