Bright Jupiter and Mars shine from the eastern sky during twilight this morning as seen from the Chicago area at 4:55 a.m. (Click the image to see it larger.)   Both are emerging from solar conjunction and appear in the eastern sky before sunrise.  Mars move faster than Jupiter.  During the next several mornings, Mars gets closer to and passes Jupiter.  For more about this see our monthly sky watching summary.
