After a cloudy day, the crescent moon, Venus and Saturn shine from the southwestern sky during evening twilight as seen from the Chicago area.  (Click the image to see it larger.)  Tonight the moon is about 1.5 degrees from Venus and Saturn is 10 degrees to the upper left of the brilliant planet. Bright sky evening sky events this month:
